Fellow Medallion Policy
It is appropriate to wear your Fellow medallion to the following professional functions:
1. AEIRS Annual Meeting
a. Fellow Elevation Ceremony/Honors Lecture
b. Business Luncheon
c. Leadership Luncheon
Current Fellows do not need to wear their medallions at any other time during the Annual Meeting but are encouraged to wear their Fellow pin. Newly elevated Fellows are asked to wear their medallion during the entire Annual Meeting at which they are inducted.
2. Regional Meetings
a. Opening and business sessions
b. Official meal functions
c. Special lectures
3. Other Related Meetings
a. Functions related to imaging and radiologic sciences or health programs
b. As a guest speaker for a function related to the profession
c. Official meal functions related to the profession
4. Formal Academic Events and Ceremonies
a. Whenever academic regalia is worn
Your Fellow medallion should never be worn at nonprofessional or informal functions.
