Vision
My vision is to serve as a leader and resource for educators, guiding as technologies continue to evolve. I aim to expand support to encompass all disciplines within the imaging and radiologic sciences community. In today’s dynamic environment, it is crucial for educators to collaborate, sharing resources and effective approaches to ensure success. By fostering this collaborative spirit, AEIRS can help educators adapt to emerging technologies and provide high-quality education.

Qualifications
I am a dedicated Ultrasonographer with over 25 years of experience in ultrasound technology, academia, and clinical care. I played a key role in establishing a women’s imaging clinic and have served as both Technical Director and Clinical Ultrasonographer. My academic career spans nearly 15 years, complemented by experience in corporate training, where I have contributed to enhancing technologists’ understanding of ultrasound platforms and equipment. These diverse experiences have equipped me to support colleagues and help shape the next generation of technologists. My commitment to improving clinical and academic outcomes also includes fostering strong relationships with medical professionals and educators to continuously enhance patient care.

Goals
My goal is to support and be a resource, helping educators evolve and succeed in their journey within the field of imaging and radiologic sciences.

With a strong background in radiologic sciences education and experience in budgetary affairs, I am well-equipped to serve as AEIRS's secretary/treasurer. My organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to transparency will ensure that I serve well in that position if elected. Additionally, my passion for education and dedication to the professional development of our members align well with AEIRS's core values.

Vision
My vision of AEIRS is to continue and expand collaborative efforts within the organization. Opportunities should be provided to everyone for participation. In my years of experience as an educator in the profession. I found it most difficult to be a candidate for participation in professional organizations. Everyone can bring something to the table. Our strength is our wisdom, our professional future is our students, and our continuation of the profession lies within our young educators.
Qualifications
I feel that I possess the qualifications to serve in this position. I am a life-long learner of the profession. My leadership at my institution and within the state has enabled me to grow professionally. I am eager to serve all members of this organization.
Goals
My goals would be to serve in the organization, and to be involved within the organization. To provide a pathway informing all educators about the opportunities that exist within AEIRS and our other professional organizations. I would like to see membership increase, and to start a platform for those professionals interested in the most rewarding profession of becoming an effective educator.

As the 2021 Aunt Minnie Award recipient for Most Effective Radiologic Sciences Educator, I have demonstrated excellence in educational innovation and student engagement. My role as RAD-AID International Program Manager has equipped me with robust project management experience while delivering radiologic education to underserved global communities. This unique combination of classroom excellence and international program management showcases my ability to lead impactful educational initiatives at both local and global scales.
Goals
AEIRS should pioneer innovative cross-disciplinary education models, integrating radiology residents into technologist education through image critique sessions. Understanding that radiologists' success depends on exceptional technologists, we must foster meaningful collaboration between disciplines through interdisciplinary mentorship programs, shared learning platforms, and bridges between radiology and radiologic technology programs.

The following positions will be filled by election: President-Elect, Director-at-Large, and Secretary-Treasurer.

President-Elect: Any active AEIRS members who has previously served as a member of the AEIRS Board of Directors is eligible to serve as President-Elect. The term of service is three years for this position (one year each as President-Elect, President, and Chair of the Board).
